Ok here goes.....

I am a frenetic ball of energy. Mother to my children, NICU nurse, triathlete, and generally a creative soul. I tend to dive into any new creative pursuit head first and get slightly obsessed. Over the years I have dabbled in garment sewing, quilting, watercolours, gardening, and have always remained a passionate cook.

When I discovered triathlon a few years ago, all my creative energy suddenly became fuel to keep my body moving forward, whilst swimming, biking and running. I fell in love with this sport. Other than cooking, I put away all my artistic endeavours for a while.

And now? Photography has been the silver lining in a knee injury I sustained when skiing last year. Frustrated with my inability to run, I bought a small point and shoot camera and started taking photos when I was out on my long bike rides. And voila! A new obsession was born!
