how Sondra finds these precious everyday moments really inspires me. Of course, it takes an eye, and she's got it, but it also tells me that moments of joy and wonder in the lives of children are happening all the time, everywhere. Perhaps those moments are more bounteous around her specifically because of what she does--she's an educator and a leader and a role model, and these children are allowed to thrive in an environment she helps create, and that is why there appears to be so much wonder where they are. But, however it is that it happens, seeing it through her eye and her lens really moves me and I am a gladder being because of it. when she turns her camera on other subjects, i feel as if i've been allowed to glimpse a fragment of a dream, and my spirit alights because of it.
