‚Kunst heißt, Ordnung in das Chaos zu bringen’

I studied Art in Erfurt and was strongly influenced by the stylistic compositions and designs of Bauhaus during that time.

I collect old postcards and photos of portraits and people up till the 1930s. I always loved photography and have achieved a City and Guilds qualification in London in 2005.

The move to Newcastle brought Oskar my Weimaraner into my life and he occupies most of my lenses time.

I am still in love with the quality and grain of analogue images which so far have not been matched by digital yet- IMHO. Manipulation of images for me is admitting defeat not able to translate a vision. So whenever I crop one of my shots I feel I did not achieve what I set out to do and makes me work/think harder next time when I press the release button.

Photography for me is mainly about having fun and recording my life.
