I am an avid photographer always trying to better myself.

I love taking pictures, and I rarely restrict myself to one genre; it seems, however that most of the photos I upload are from travels of one sort or another. I love travelling and I feel much more inspired when I am away from home in a different environment. I am particularly fond of Japan and Africa, and I hope I will be able to go there again soon.

At the moment I am focusing on studio and lighting techniques, inspired by Joe McNally's use of small flashes.

I use Nikon cameras (almost) exclusively, and they have shown to be both reliable and a pleasure to work with. I shoot both film and digital.

Nikon F-501 - My first SLR and a faithful companion until the shutter gave out a while ago. It has lasted 21 years so far so I'm considering having it repaired :-)

Leica IIf - Bought in Peru, this hasn't seen much use yet, but who knows?
