Graduated in June 2017 with a 1st class BA Honours Degree in Costume For Performance at the prestigious London College of Fashion.

Industry experience includes internships at The Metropolitan Opera, New York; Royal College of Music, London, and with celebrity stylist and dress maker Kate Halfpenny, London. Anya has also done freelance jobs for LAMDA, London in costume on short films and the 2017 LAMDA Gala performances. Assisted with styling / wardrobe on TV commercials for Marks and Spencer, Dove Deodorant and music videos for various artists.

Throughout her school life Anya was obsessed with corsetry-making, Alexander McQueen, Tim Walker and West End musicals, later developing a passion for conceptual theatre. She chose her senior school based on the standard of their sewing machines and Textiles and Drama departments although her academic record is also exemplary. Early ambition lay in fashion design but later Anya decided she would rather create captivating one-off pieces, and thus chose the path of Costume Design.

Anya adores the whole creative and making process which her time at LCF allowed her to explore and refine under the guidance of world-class tutors and technicians; from research, experimentation, design and making, including breaking down, metal work, leather work and embellishment. She is a perfectionist and takes great pride in her own work but also loves to work with performers and as part of a creative team.
