Anua-tutu-a means "rainbow" in Polynesian. We are creatures of stardust and light. Water dependent, locked forever in the electro magnetic field of Biosphere Earth.

This is my life. Instead of writing a autobiography, I can tell it in pic grabs here, for everyone to ponder. I don't mind sharing now I'm in the home stretch, with an amazing magic carpet of memories to cruise around in here, with the help of Flickr.

Also in my postings are pix of Sports Boats on behalf of my brother Julian. I am Admin of the Sports Boats group on his behalf.

THANK YOU FLICKR! WHAT AN AMAZING SITE THIS IS!

A bit about me:

I am/have been a riparian botanist, photographer, animator & yarn artist.

I live in the Land of Oz in the rainforested mountains of an old volcano inland from Byron Bay.

In 00's I explored digital art, creating fractals mostly.

Now I am writing a blog - see below.

Exploring the spectrum of It All fascinates me endlessly.

My dream is to wake up one day to find peace and harmony have replaced the pain, the horror, wars, pollution and all that is wrong on our ailing planet world.

We are so extraordinarily lucky to be here at all.

Why can't we find it in us to respect and love each other and our Goldilocks planet, to replace competition with cooperation, to appreciate this gift of life !

Ah yes, in my dreams..... reality is Other Wise.

Chronicles d'Anu - digital art

I have attaching brief fantasy fictions to some of my fractal images and created a fantasia for you to explore, called Chronicles d'Anu.

It's just a bit of web-linking fun with 20th century dinosaur cliches.

To start, follow the sequence of links from this Flickr post The Secrets of Natural Arch www.flickr.com/photos/anua22a/2486410458/ & enjoy.

Long Walk to the Truth - blog

From 2012 I started writing a blog, Long Walk to the Truth, about my long walk in 1968-1971 from Morocco to India. As I had no camera then and my drawings were primitive to say the least, I have been able to illustrate various events in my travels with the help of generous and talented Flickr members who have given me permission to use their outstandingly beautiful pix.

Please visit my blog at:

longwalktothetruth.blogspot.com.au/

and look on the side bar for a list of these contributing Flickr members and visit their galleries, where treasures will reward you.

I am so grateful to all of you who have so generously helped me bring this blog to life. I now regard it as less of my own work, and more of a team effort.

A glowing testimonial from an individual whose photographic skills are negligible may seem out of place on flickr. As a poet who feels privileged to have grown to know Anu and her peerless presentations over the last few months, and has used many examples drawn from her sumptuous media art set as backgrounds to heighten and illustrate my poetry - no praise is superfluous. It cannot be coincidental that this very moment as I write this testimonial yet another background illustrated by Anu has been given another trophy and thus is included herein as an example allpoetry.com/poe... Perhaps in providing links to both myself and works, many of which she has generously commented on, may appear presumptuous, and should be seen here as tangible evidence of ways in which poet and illustrator may appear to seamlessly complement each other. This complementarity has until now been implicit, that inspired by future illustrations from one of the most colourful spirits on flickr may be more explicit and hopefully will sustain Anu's sumptuous creations for many years to come. Although my presence on flickr stems directly from egocentric motives of seeking photos to transform into backgrounds or additional pictures to illustrate my verse, - and in its way this testimonial extends to all who have graciously offered permission - it is my considered opinion that Anu's work both, on flickr and elsewhere deserves sustained global recognition as examples of contemporary creativity and as such soar above that shown by others I have encountered to date.
