I live in Dewsbury (but still say I'm from Huddersfield, as it's my Hometown). I'm a bit snap happy, taking photos of scenery where and when I can. I'm sitting (not literally) on around 50 boxes of slides of old color pictures from around the UK which were taken firstly by my Grandad, and then were passed on to my Uncle, who carried on taking photos into the early 90's. The projector and screen would come out when there were family gatherings.

The slide archive was passed onto me in 1998. I've sort of carried on the tradition of photography, but instead I'm using the modern technological equivalent. Digital Cameras, and CD/DVDs of holidays.

I do intend to transfer some of those old slides onto Flickr, but I need a back-lit scanner to do that, which I haven't got.

I will get round to it eventually.
