A fine photographer and deep thinker who moves from the surreal to the emotional with ease. It's a pleasure to have him as a contact and always a joy to see what filters out of his camera next. Magician, delicate sorcerer, subtle poet, and infinite fortune teller, Antonis is all those things and more at the same time. His search goes deeper and deeper into a past that we’ll never know if it really was, but fills our soul of an infinite nostalgia; the past of our souls, of our ancestors, of our oldest wishes and anxieties. His images invite to dream that something happened here before us. His remote Greeks, (our same old fathers) are alive in his pictures. I see him taking his little daughter doll to compose an infinite tragedy as if it were a children’s game. Una cierta tristeza (a kind of blue) sweetly invades my soul when I stand on looking at his photographs. I can see the whole Mediterranean there, all its victories and all its defeats. But this is not all. Antonis is an incredible person, a unique human being, a speaker that seems to be capable of understand and suffer from all. And I can not separate the persona and the artist; both are in this case an outstanding human being. Thank you Antonis, for sharing your infinite and moving world.

Antonis is, first of all, an expert soul’s diver… And above all, he is a great… great… really great guy! As Mirko said, every time I hold my camera, he is into my soul and into my mind… My mentor, my friend… I know that you don’t like hearing it but… (I don’t) thank you for being YOU! I am nearly getting touched while I am writing this testimonial for Antonis..He is among my favourites artists in Flickr as well as a dearest friend (although I do not know him in person, and this is a virtue)..His visions, his digital poems, his deciptions of the (mere) world that surrounds us are filled with a poignancy, an intensity and a mistery (and sometimes with a lovely humour ;-)) which are often able to cast and move you away from the reality..And, is that something we often need?!? Everytime I hold my camera I have firm in my mind his works and the beautiful words from the songs that play along with his great pieces of Art!!! Keep it up carissimo amico!!!! Ciao, Mirko :))
