Antonio Dognini was born in 1982 in Milan, Italy. He was blessed with a lifelong love of music, and from this passion was born the need to express his emotions by these means. Weakness vs strength. Hope vs fear. Truth vs dreams. Pain vs pleasure. Rationality vs passion. His world is made up of contrasts and the need to tidy up his feelings often clashes with chaos. The desire to transcend the extreme contradictions of his life has led him to the present. Appearances for appearances sake and the desire for fame and success, typical in today’s society, are discarded for the need to put his emotions at the service of his listeners’ souls. With a natural pre-disposition towards everything that is “Pop”, he makes simplicity one of the constants of his lyrics and musical style. In 2003, he started composing his first songs trusting solely in his instincts… With his song “Salvarmi l’anima”, he participated in many singing competitions all over Italy gaining positive results. In 2005 he won the men’s category in the “Safe’n Sound – by Renault” competition. The wining song was included in the competition’s compilation album which was distributed to every Renault dealerships all over Italy. In 2006, he wrote and produced the pop song “Vieni qui…” in collaboration with musicians and producers DiMo and Fabz.the.Dale. Currently, Antonio is attending a Music Academy in Milan where he studies singing, piano and other musical and artistic subjects and he is working on some new musical projects. In 2007, he produced “Beyond Appearances”, a communication project comprising photographs to accompany his new acoustic songs (Adesso -Now-, Lost without your Love and Pronto a Vincere -Ready to Win-), a new starting point from which to go forward. Fond of cinema, communication and art, he considers himself as being in constant evolution and in a continual search for self-improvement. In recent months, due to curiosity at first, Antonio has been on a spiritual path with the study of Kabbalah, thanks to which he is finding many answers and confirmations to many of his questions.
