I started out playing around with a film camera and a super 8 movie camera in junior high and high school. When I went into the Air Force, I was able to afford a Canon F1 camera. In the mid-1970s had full access to the pro sports car races where I took many auto racing photos. In the early 1980s I took photos for college newspapers and for local magazines. I tried to my hand at shooting weddings, bar mitzvas, and karate schools. As an assistant scoutmaster, I took the scouts on many backpacking trips where I took photos in the local mountains and the High Sierras. Around 1990 my interests switch to mountain search and rescue where I continued my photo endeavors.

Currently I am providing my photo services to non-profit organizations.
