Trained in Japan anthropology, museum studies, and visual documentary, my main work centers on outreach and public engagement methods. So much expertise is confined to campus and scholarly journals, but with some guidance some of this knowledge can reach wider audiences. Promoting better communication and curiosity between people and their languages is my aim.

(1) I experimented with converting selected rural Japan of my Flickr posts into a MS-Word document to publish as ebook: "Life and Times Today in Rural Japan" at Amazon in each country.
