In Kindergarten I was voted "Most Inquisitive" and that has stuck with me ever since. I love questions, but even more importantly, I love answers. My life, who I am, is a quest for truth.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." And in Jesus Christ; I have found Truth: a truth worth dying for. More importantly though: I have found a Truth worth living for. And that is what I am doing with my life: LIVING IT FOR JESUS.

There are three things in life, to me, that are more important than anything else and those things prioritize and schedule everything else in life that I do:

Glorify God with my life.

Point people to Jesus with my life, and

Love my family with everything I have.

I was born and raised in Salem, Oregon by two wonderful parents and three sisters. It was a Christian home and my dad just happened to be a pastor. I made a decision to follow Christ at a very young age and even though I haven't always been close to Him or have made the right decisions- He has a never left me or forsaken me.

I began dating Susan McCarthy in December of 1995. We were married on June 19th of 1999. It was on that day, my wedding day, that I felt the Holy Spirit of God step in to my life and begin to change me from the inside out. The Lord gradually worked on me over the years and in July of 2001, God...spoke to me. He said, "Unless you are preparing yourself for ministry, everything else is a waste of time." I knew at that moment that God had a lifetime of ministry for me.

At that time I had already been volunteering at my church's youth group as an activities coordinator and speaker, but things became so much more real-so much more alive for me after God showed me His greater purposes for my life.

I began leading a College/Young Adult Group that eventually led me to co-direct a experimental, city-wide young adult ministry. These were some of the greatest times of my life and God continued to show me that he had more for me to do.

On December 12th, 2004 God blessed Susan and I with a son: Zion Ralph-Anthony Trask. Life, yet again, took on new meaning, new purpose, and new joy. We didn't know it could be possible to love someone so much at first sight. And God used Zion to show me how much He loved the world; how much He loved His own Son whom He gave up to die- for me.

In June of 2005, I took on my first time vocational ministry job: Associate Pastor of Student Ministries in Salem, Oregon. God has shown me so much through ministering to His people. It's a privilege to be able teach people about Jesus and to be able to devote my time to doing so.

On February 26th, 2008 God gave Susan and I a daughter: Kylie Nadine Trask. She is beautiful. And now that seven years have passed since God called me into ministry; and now that our family feels so complete with Susan, Zion, Kylie, and myself: God has called us on to a new adventure. We are starting a position as Boy's Dean at Canyonville CHristian Academy in Southern Oregon.

We can't wait to see what God has in store for us in Canyonville and beyond. We're up for whatever He is.
