I decided to get a NIkon D80 about 2 years ago, and have been learning a lot about photograpy. I have been reading great books, and take a lot of pictures on manual setting on my quest to improve how I approach a shot.

I've gotten involved with some photography groups and have ventured out on shoots and made new friends, and I have learned a lot.

Yes I am a newbie, and have always enjoyed snapping photos with a point and shoot digital- but everything changed when I upgraded to a DSLR.
