I am an amateur photographer who enjoys exploring and documenting the world around me.
Originally I was a very occasional "happy snapper" until digital came along.
I visited the USA in 1992 for a stay of 4 months which included San Francisco, San Diego, Norfolk VA and Washington DC. In that time I shot 30 odd rolls of film recording some amazing places, things and people. On retuning to Sydney, the films were developed and was found to be over exposed and streaked due to a shutter malfunction with my Minolta Compact. To say I was disappointed was an understatement, I lost my interest in photography!
I visited Boston Massachusetts in 2001, where I bought my first Digital Camera, a Olympus C2040Z from Ritz cameras at Burlington Mall, it taught me to enjoy photography once more.....
My next camera was an Olympus C8080 Wide Zoom, and then followed by the challenge of a DSLR, a Nikon D90. I love the immediacy of digital and the control one has of the whole process.
My photos also are a photo diary of my family and what we get up to.
Please enjoy and comment.
