I'm a middle school teacher, a fencer, a poet, and an outdoor educator. My photos reflect this -- I don't usually post photos of people, because most of my people pictures are of people I don't have legal permission to photograph and post: the school has that permission, and they decide which of my photos go up.

I find that being a photographer helps my poetry, and vice versa. I don't know very much about photography yet, but I think it's time that I learned something. Don't you?
