Free Spirit, 1+1+1 makes Two. Started as a child taking pictures. First with a German "Robot" (Zeiss) from my father, later with the first Canon F-1. My idol was Henry Cartier Bresson & Feininger in photography. That's why my aim for taking pictures is, regardless under which circumstances, to capture the right moment. (And that was not easy with my first digital camera, a Sony S70 with almost one second of delay, grrr)

Later , I bought a little and fast one. I could catch then more or less the right moment, but its offen not sharp enough ;-)

Added recently: Then I have bought a Nikkon D80 and was deceived about the quality (if not in open sun).

Since August 2008. I proudly own the new Nikon D700, and I'm more or less satisfied.

new Entry: Since some years I have a D800. Better camera but less reliabable than the D700.

2019: After having my camera beack from repair, in a more bad shape than before, and also that the D800 has come into age, I was hearing from the the new mirrorless Nikons and the Z6 is now becoming more familiar to me. Many new functions, great, silent shutter, enough fast (I was afraid before comparing to the D800), but finally less "analog" structure from the sensor, especially in the dark surfaces. Not comparable to the D800. And, another great feature: the 3D stabilised sensor. Incredible.
