I have just been introduced to the work of Anna and am awe-struck by the sheer beauty of what she produces. She is an artist with her camera and lens, and her images touch me deeply. If I didn't have the guilt of being logged on to Flickr for so long, I could get lost in the world of her images forever! Anna has reminded me that photography (and art in general) is fun. She's probably not even aware she's done that for me, but she has. It's so easy to get caught up in the 'stuff's' surrounding art that we can easily loose site of the main goal. That goal is to love what we're doing, show people what we see and feel, and to smile all the way through it. I've been aware of Anna since I started posting on the net which is about 4 years now. We never got to know each other at all, infact we never really talked until I found Flickr. In the last few months I've gotten to know Anna a little bit. We've shared an email or two and that has shown me some of her world. The real key to knowing Anna is to look at her images. Her passions, feelings and emotions are steeped within them. If you get to know her portfolio you get to know the woman. Caring, emotional, talented and giving. I am glad we had the chance to get to know each other a bit. She is an amazingly talented photographer and even better, an amazingly talented person.

I discovered Anna's stream 3 days ago and have become hooked to it seeing her first photo. She's very, very skillful handling both her camera and processing skills. More importantly she sees and captures beauty all around her, mostly in portraits, landscapes and macro's. In her portraits you find a powerful humanistic approach, especially in the eyes of her models. In landscapes she has a delicate handling of light and colors beyond a level rarely seen here. She handles composition and colors very well in her macro's and sometimes she turns them into an abstract artform. You're a great inspiration. August 2006 Hans
