My favorite photo subjects are cats (mine or random ones), my husband doing ordinary things in interesting places, and typical travel photos that feel special because they're mine.

I'm back in the US after many years away. I realize that I don't reach for my camera regularly, and I miss the elusive spark of joy when a photo captures a moment just right. So begins my 2026 mission to savor and clear the backlog and make new entries in this precious photo diary.
