Ann is an image architect. There is Imagist poetics esp. in her street and architecture photos. Like those Cubists and Imagists such as e. e. cummings, William C. Williams and Ezra Pound, her photographic language is concise by presenting concrete elements as they are and studying their essences from the abstract. I've learned from Ann to observe and appreciate the beauty of architectural details as well as the reflections ignored by me and many others. She has a UNIQUE eye for deconstructing modern art and for reconstructing historical heritages such as her impressive Turkish set.
