I'm an American living in Scotland. My husband and I are retired and love to travel. I've begun to love photography more and more the last decade or so and in January 2011 bought myself a DSLR. Photography has become a passion!

My equipment (so far): Canon EOS Rebel T2i, 18-55mm, 75-300mm, nifty fifty 50mm 1.8F, extension tubes, remote shutter control. Dreaming of a really good macro lens.

We lived in Uganda from 2007-09 and I became frustrated with my point and shoot camera as I missed many shots due to the lack of speed, etc.
