About me: I'm Annette "Bowser" Brunette, 64 (eek!), member of the Old Goats Club, long time member of the tg community who looks the same whether in drag or drab. If you like my pictures I look like that 24/7 and yes, I have my own mop. (That is my real hair!) ... I've been asked a number of times whether I'm on hormones or whether I plan on transitioning ... yada, yada, yada. And I'll repeat the blurb from a yahoo group: Not from Mars. Not from Venus. And not heading towards either. Seriously, why spend all your time hanging out exclusively in one gender?

OK, if you've read this far you may notice I'm not wearing dresses in too many photos. That's because my all time favorites are those hot pants jumpsuits. While the vast majority of gals prefer their fancy dresses, stiletto heels, mini-skirts, power business suits, french maids outfits, leather, pvc, fishnet stockings and fancy makeup, I prefer to go as naturally as possible. (The "girl next door" look) And while we are on the topic of natural, I prefer the plain/light makeup look to the heavily made up dramatic, theatrical or "drag queen" image. Just my preference, I guess. As a jeans gal, some people say I'm a tomboy. I won't argue with that.

From time to time you may notice some "gag" photos and fantasy shots. Women with beards and other oddities not associated with the "real world." I guess that's my warped sense of humor getting the best of me...really, photoshop is a wonderful invention.

I am a proud member of the Ya Ya Bowserhood, Bowsers of Boston (the BOBs), the Modesty Club, Frumpy or Dumpy, Prissiest of the Prissy, Ugliest of the Ugly, Sorority Bimbos of New England (SBoNE), Black Essence, The Cracked Mirror, Bag Lady International, Cosmetically Challenged Tgals and the Canine Tgals Sorority. There is too much emphasis on Foxy gals and not enough on our bowser counterparts.

Please note that I have many hundreds more photos than you actually see in my tiny little gallery which goes back to 1995. (If you wanna see my real DOG photos, [1995-2002] you'll find them in the back 5 pages as I'm trying to keep them in some sort of order and I often add shots in the BDC [before digital camera] times. ) You'll see pictures in drag, drab, androgynous, and even outside the tg world.

To Post or not to post? That is the question. One of the problems of posting anyone besides me is that not everyone wants their picture plastered online for the world to see. Generally anyone who has an online profile won't mind. The problem is that there are a lot of gals who go out in public regularly but don't want their face on the net. And there are a surprisingly large # around this area! Therefore when in doubt I don't post. Still you'll get to see snapshots of many others (especially in New England) besides me. I am mindful of the fact that I can't include everyone...some folks just don't want an online presence. Yes, I know, the arrangement is a little haphazard and Mickey Mouse but I have tried to organize them by sets (right hand column) and tags. They've also made it rather difficult to reorder photos so please bear with me.
