I am over 50 and a retired elementary school teacher. I love reading, crocheting, and photography. Many years ago I was into SLR photography and took a few classes. Then life happened and I set my camera aside. Now that we have really great digital cameras I have decided to try again. I had a Sony DSC-HX1 camera but wanted one with interchangable lenses. I researched for quite a while before getting a Nikon D3100 just recently. I find that most of my photographs are of nature -- animals, landscapes, and flowers. I also enjoy finding old buildings to shoot.
