Now that I have that out of the way.

Like most of us, I started with a Kodak instamatic camera. I was lucky in that my father owned a drug store so I had access to film and having it developed. I was always amazed by professional and gifted photographers. I had the opportunity to travel in Europe during college with a SLR but did not really know how to use it - what a waste. On a trip to the Galapagos, I found myself very frustrated trying to "share" a camera with my husband. Soon he bought me a small Panasonic point and shoot. After a trip to California and some great pictures from a small camera there was no stopping me. I am now working with a Nikon D-90 and have a lot to learn about a great camera.

My love is outdoor photography - landscapes and nature especially. I am, like most of us, fascinated by light.
