No formal (or even informal) photographic training. I just enjoy it. I've begun to see an emerging style that is definitely influenced by my years of Art History study. My best photos are very much influenced by a similar aesthetic to traditional paintings and drawings. I enjoy photos that very firmly state "I am a photograph" and make it clear that that is the medium, but my eye tends to gravitate towards more painterly considerations.

I don't do much people photography, with the exception of my son, and I've found myself doing more and more what might be called still life subjects.

There is much for me to learn in both the medium itself as well as post processing. I'm not where I want to be, but then this is a journey, after all, and I'm enjoying it tremendously,
