Anna Chelmicka is a writer and photographer who is a nationally published expert on travelling and walking with dogs.

Anna was born in Bristol, England in 1948.

A backpacking trip across the world from London to Sydney in 1976 ignited her love of travelling.

After taking early retirement from a primary school teaching career she found her love of travelling reignited after buying a motorhome and the unexpected addition to her life of a dog.

Having travelled around Switzerland, Poland, France, Austria, Italy and Luxembourg with her dogs she found there was an extreme lack of information about travelling with them. So she took on the challenge of writing comphrehensive and engaging guides herself.

Since then she has been published in national magazines including Country Walking and Motorhome Monthly Magazine. Her books include a chronicle of her life with her first dog, My Friend Ruby, and is currently working on an anthology of walks from campsites.
