hmmm... miss anna bronwyn murphy: self taught artist, a born tomboy who's all lady, and a perpetuator of contradictions.... when i was a kid i wanted to be (in this order) an artist, a trapeze artist and a midwife. big on individualism, integrity, idealism, intrigue and tom-foolery. tongue-in-cheek. gypsies. trains. hats. old trees. rootstructures. gardening. suitcases. deer. pin ups. our lady. kalika. shiela na gig. day of the dead. mexico. sideshows. traditional tattoos. la sirena. women. sex appeal. pulp paperback covers. el corazon. anatomy books. proportion. eye-balling it. cast offs (some call it trash). outcasts. creosote. rain (thunderstorms). the wee hours. the word "wee". oui.

stop in on any given day and you'll find me making clothing, paintings, one of a kind jewelry, illustrations, papier mache sugar skulls, "tattooed" people parts (dolls, mannequins), knick knackery.... lewd gestures.
