With a trunk load of vintage cameras Ann makes photographs with a rural aesthetic that are classic and touching. Always one to experiment, she never fails to surprise with her ability to work in so many different processes and techniques. The results are always inspiring.

This woman is full of talent, such an artist. You know when you buy a CD for a song or two that you love. Well if AnnaBelle's work were a CD I have loved all her songs! Everything that she produces is beautiful.

Anna Belle's work is simply amazing and awe inspiring. She's a film goddess, and works it so well. I love seeing what she comes up with next with whatever vintage camera she happens to be working with. I'm never disappointed, and always inspired!

Annabelle is one of my favorite photographers on flickr, her captures with so called "toy" cameras" being nothing short of brilliant. Beautiful atmosphere and a unique combination of wonderment, innocence, and unsettling creepiness make anything she shoots magical.

Ann's one of the first who got me started working with toy cameras in fine art photography. Her work with the Holga has elevated the photography of the American West to a much truer, native son-or-daughter perspective. From the closing of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st, the West still endures, and Ann is… Read more

Inspiring, ever creative and always helpful, Annabelle is a great flickr friend and an artist to keep your eye on. It just keeps getitng better.

In brief, Anna has made the gaint leap from simply taking photos to creating works of art and beauty. Her work captures the imagination and evokes strong memories of the past. Her portfolio is like a good book that you can't put down until you have gone from front to back.

I love Annabelle’s work – plain and simple. She is such a talented photographer, that I look forward anxiously everyday to see if she has added any new images to her web page. Her vision of the world is magical, and it gives me a sense that there are many things in the world that are unseen – yet Annabelle somehow manages to capture those mysteries with her camera. Her images are poignant and real – and I can’t get enough of them.

Annabelle has a real talent for portraying quirky Americana in a way that artfully amplifies it and makes it even more beautiful and more unusual, so it bears the mark of her creativity, and at the same time stands for an idea ~ represents the whimsical side of the West.
