Greetings!

I joined Flickr in 2008 when I was still new to the art and I felt driven, happily so, to explore the world thru the lens. I found I did my best work when I was doing it more as a meditation, staying present, listening to the still, quiet voice within as well as looking and exploring visually. I haven't done much photography in years (it's June 2024 as I write this) and I'm circling back to my old photos and finding some pretty good shots and some gems - well, they're gems for me as an amateur. I feel compelled to start sharing a few, once again, and It's my sincere hope at least one or more will touch you and stir that still quiet voice in you.

I have a Sony Alpha 100 that I bought when it won something like "best new camera of the year" award from a photography magazine.
