I follow a lot of people on Flickr..... alot of great photographers, and seemingly wonderful people - Anna is both. But, in my three years on this crazy site, I have never seen anybody grow as a photographer as quickly as I've seen Anna grow. There are a few things you need to know about Anna. 1) Anna is extremely helpful. She will do anything she can to help you up your game in photography. A great example, she helped me find a great, cheap background for photography and has given me lots of tips on portraiture. 2) Anna has a great eye. When I see her photos, especially her self-portraits, I am often left thinking, "Darn, why didn't I think of that?" 3) But the most important thing about Anna is that she is not afraid to learn/experiment. She seems to constantly pushing herself to try out new techniques and then share what she's learned with the rest of us on flickr.

I discovered Anna's stream when I started July's ABC Soup. I quickly fell in love with her style and added her as a contact. Her stream is one of the first ones I check everyday. Her high keys photo are fantastic and she has such a quirky sense of humor. She manages to make me laugh whether she's climbing into a high voltage area or just cuddling her stuffed giraffe. Everywhere I go on flickr I see Zee Anna!!!!!!! This girl seriously must be the most popular girl on flickr.... with good, no great reason! Zee Anna! is always there to comment on her contact's photos... to praise them, or pick them up when they are down. She cares, she listens.... (well, ok she reads...) but you get the idea!! I am glad to call her a friend. Zee Anna!'s photos are always very creative. You can tell she puts time into them... she thinks about what she is trying to convey, and then finds the perfect way to relate it photographically. Her photos are intelligent, yet fun. She is always doing something new, and always takes the time to get the technique RIGHT. But what I love most is that she's not afraid to lay it all out there. Her flickr life is her real life, and that is awesome. Her photos are TRUTH.

Since I "met" Zee Anna over at July's ABCs (at least, I'm pretty sure that's where) she's been one of my favouritest flickr people, and not just because she always says very nice things about my photos :) Anna is the high-key lighting guru, and also makes some hilariously funny shots. Sometimes she does both at the same time. She has a good eye for photos, as evidenced by her copying a couple of my shots... and the shot I copied from her made explore. :D PS. you could say the occasional critical thing about my photos if you want Anna, I'll still like you :)
