Annene Annene Annene… Surely if you have got this far you don't need me to sell her to you. I consider her a distant, unknowing mentor. Between her and Luke I have stolen much.

I just want to be on this page. Somehow associated with her photographs and her elusive brilliance.

Ms. Annene doesn't need me to join the throng of those who rightly revere her remarkable photographs, and witty and adroit comments, yet I must. Her work and observations are always surprising, interesting and pleasurable. And, of course, suffused with impeccable style.

She stole Shania Twain's coat and then she stole my heart. Then she sold both on ebay and bought a pony, which she rode to Mexico and set up a school for donkeys with behavioural problems.

I was just going through my favorites and realized that Annene is the most favorited in my collection. On top of that she has so many photos in her stream that I haven't favorited. Yet. This woman has a magical eye and captures the world in a most personal way. I love it!

Annene... combines the independent heart of an artist with the power of universal love. I’m a sucker for people with the right mix of masculine and feminine energies and she has it. Affengeil.

once i said 'yay' and she said 'yay yourself' (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ann3n3/418048341/) since then, i'm intimidated by and kind of in love with her. like the chick that doesn't go to the prom with you. her photos are intense, sincere and engaging. one of a kind.

The existence of Annene is an enigma. I cannot tell you for sure what she is.

Not to belittle her photographic accomplishments, but I still hold that Annene missed her true calling as a cult leader. Flickr is happier, but the cultosphere is a sadder place.

there will always ve debates about who is the 'best' photographer on flickr; who is the most inffluential, who is the most emulated... these debates are rendered meaningless as soon as the phrase ann - ene is muttered. a modern master.

I don't know why, but I'm afraid of her.. although she offers me chocolate and stories... (...I think she rules Flickr!)

Annene is the center of the universe. She is the shining star in the middle. She is the best. I wanted to write a testimonial for a long time now, but it is totally useless after 404's testimonial. I will never hit the nail in so few words. Apart from that I would not use those words. :-)

Ann'ne takes stunning photos and I suspect she may come from the depths of outer space, out near Pluto or maybe even from one of those tiny blinking lights in the sky that I worry about occasionally. But that's ok, so long as she flosses regularly.
