I am Canadian. I had an interest in photography as a child and into my late 20's, then life and work got into the way of my hobby.

When digital came along I bought a 5mp 'point and shoot' Kodak which I later upgraded to a prosumer Panasonic Lumix. The Panasonic, with its great Leica built lens, was fine for a few years and a few trips but then I changed to the Nikon D40X. From there I got the D300, D800E and D750. Becoming older... it became quite a burden to travel with 35+ pounds of heavy Nikon gear, so this year (2017) I sold all my Nikon equipment and got the much lighter Fujifilm X-T2 and a full complement of lenses.

I thoroughly enjoy taking photos and love photos with vibrant colours. Just like the food I eat... I don't want my photos to be bland, I want them to be a feast for your eyes! In recent years I have been blessed to be able to travel and love exploring new places. I work full time in accounting and photography is a hobby that I really enjoy and strive to get better at.
