Hi, I'm Gene.

I'm just an average guy who's recently been diagnosed with GAS (Gear Acquirement Syndrome). It's prolly incurable but can be treated nicely by buying old, crummy cameras on Ebay for under 15 bucks (American).

I started out with a Holga but quickly added a Diana F+, a second Holga, Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, Agat 18, Lubitel 166U TLR, Olympus XA, Olympus Trip 35, Golden Half, Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim, Holga Micro 110, Petri 7, Yashica EM TLR, Balda Supermatic I, & an Argus C-four. Notice a trend? I'm not a digital fella (ignore the 1080p TV in the corner, please). If it's a toy or mostly manual & all analog, I'm there. Vintage, too - I dig vintage (both wine & cameras).

I don't make any adjustments to my photos using any sort of photo software. I scan my negs using a Epson V700 into Photoshop Elements 3.0 usually at 3600dpi & . . . that's it. (I resize my scans before uploading them here.) Honestly, I haven't taken the time to mess around with PS to figure out how to all those fancy things other folks do &, really, I'm kinda not interested. The most I'll do is scan a B&W neg in on the color setting. (Ohh . . . edgy!)

Thanks for lookin'! Enjoy & let me know what you think!
