Drag to set position!
Avid mountaineer and photographer from Colorado Springs, CO. living in Durango, Colorado. I enjoy climbing mountains and then writing about the adventure. My life goal was to complete the highest 100 mountains in Colorado, I which I achieved in 2018.
Photographically speaking, I started shooting in a serious way in 2011. I upgraded to a Nikon D7000 and a kit 18-105mm kit lens back in March, 2011 from my old Sony DSC-828, which I had for several years (and barely knew how to use in retrospect).
In late 2012, I upgraded to the Nikon D800 and the Nikkor 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200.
In 2017, I have switched to the Sony A7R2 and the Zeiss Loxia 21, Zeiss 55, and Sony 70-300.
In 2020, I switched to the Sony A7R4 and use the Sony 14 f/1.8, Sony 24-105 f/4, and the Sony 100-400 primarily.
I also am the creator and host of the landscape photography podcast F-Stop Collaborate and Listen.
