JOB: Youth Officer for the Ynys Mon Labour Party

My name is Guto Davies, I am 16 years old, and I am the Ynys Mon Labour Youth Officer. I would personally like to welcome you to the new Young Labour Page. I believe strongly in the power of politics and democracy and believe that we, the young people play a vital role in the future of this great nation.

I have played a role in Youth Politics for over 5 years and have had many unforgetable memories. I have been a strong member of 'Llais Ni' the Anglesey Youth Forum since 2007 and I am now the chairperson of the group, I am also a standing member of 'Funky Dragon' the Children and Young Peoples Assembly For Wales and I am also the newly elected Chair. At the end of last year I was also elected to represent Wales and the United Kingdom on the UKYouthParliament 'UKYP' The end of last year and the begining of this year has been a very important year for Welsh Politics and Young People regarding Education, Jobs, and Health. As a Youth Officer it is my role to represent the views of Young People on the Ynys Mon Labour Party and also to campaign on behalf of issues which effect everybody on Ynys Mon
