... as a former advocate for the P-9ers in Spam Town USA, anglerove is an enigma, a graduate of many "schools of hard knocks" & a true gentleman. the Ove, as many had come to know him, relocated from the home town of NFL coach & commentator, John Madden in the 1980's to a sophisticated Midwestern metropolis known only to those who knew better as: "The Cities." He was a member of the Federal witness protection program & was relocated due to his controversial beliefs & pioneer-like efforts to confiscate all 1982 Dodge Omnis & to unionize pizzerias that built a special bread/cheese-like product known only as T.I.C. anglerove quickly grew fond of his new surroundings & became fast friends with many locals & new-aged artists. he was introduced to photography by an ominous hero of the day & a prominent member of the AWA's "East West Connection." When angler was handed his first camera by the man who would much later become a prominent politician, Ove was spellbound by the majesty of the photograph. He took it upon himself to become the first American male under the age of 43, to photograph a member of the Gladden family in the execution of an historic event... angler's dreams came true when in 1987 & 1991, he was granted his wish & was able to capture 2 great events in a building named after a man named Humphrey. It was pure magic. anglerove has never been separated from his photographic device since.. anglerove and I go way back. We have a shared experience of attempting to consume our body weights in pizza, and be paid for it. Good times, good times. For years he had to stifle his creative juices and impluses. Nobody would respect his crushing body checks and bombs on net from the blue line on the rink if they knew he was an artist. With his pro hockey days in his past, he is now free to pursue his passion of photography, without fear of being speared or challenged to a fight by Al Secord or Jack Carlson. All Hail the Ove.
