Mike lives at Forcett, south east Tasmania, Australia's Island State, also known as the Apple Isle. Mike is a retired State Service Employee who worked with Tasmania Police Administration. He has been interested in photography since the age of twelve years old, only switching to digital in the last decade. Mike's main interest lies in candid street scenes in black & white and he loves to explore other peoples' street scenes, as he is no good at it himself. Mike was more into portraits but these days he mainly photographs old, antique and rusty things, and is always learning something new, usually from other photographers. He remains an amateur photographer, it's a hobby and a relaxing pastime for him.
