Well, what to say about Angie? I have a handful of contacts that I make it a point to look at their photostream everyday to see what they've posted. Angie's is one of those. I always look forward to visiting her stream everyday, because I know she's going to have something special posted. Before writing this I took the time to go back and look through her entire photostream, and I realized that she joined Flickr one day before me. It's interesting to look at where she started and where she is now as a photographer. She has really grown in this hobby by leaps and bounds. But, one thing her photos have always had are a good sense of composition. Angie has a keen eye for what will make a good photo. Whether it's composing a large landscape or cropping out everything that will distract from her subject. Where as I've turned towards gimmicks like HDR and Orton to jazz up my photos, Angie has created wonderful images without any of the tricks. Just look at her images of Lake Superior in Duluth to see the natural beauty that she captures. After seeing how far she's come in the same time frame, I'm inspired to try harder at this. You're lucky if you count Angie as a contact. She always takes the time to drop by and leave a comment, and will take the time to tell you what she likes about it. Although, she could be a little more critical when I've got something lackluster posted. Thank you Angie for your support and all of your nice comments! Happy 29th!!! ;-))

Angie's work is inspirational and unique. Through her photos I constantly see a perspective I had never before considered or I find myself swept away in an image that really tells a story. Angie is a photographer, but more than that, she is an artist! I greatly admire her natural talent! More than that, however, Angie is such a kind person! She is someone that truly looks at others' images and gives them genuine feedback. I always look forward to receiving comments from her because they are so uplifting! I am so glad to have met Angie and thankful to call her a friend! Keep posting Angie, I'm definitely addicted to your work :)

Angie has an amazing ability to see and convey the beauty of nature that surrounds her living in the beautiful Midwest. Whether it's the landscape as a whole, or taking it apart and photographing bits and pieces, the result is always fabulous! Walking through her gallery is like a lesson in the use of DoF, perspective and the use of natural light. I look so forward to her next photo each day!
