Angie è uno spirito libero, appassionata della fotografia, attiva, inesauribile .... piena di entusiasmo ed idee ed ha un approccio sincero e documentaristico della vita di tutti i giorni. La sua passione della fotografia deriva dalla capacità della foto di far vedere, di documentare luoghi, posti, persone ed emozioni che andrebbero perse e che invece attraverso l'occhi meccanico della sua macchina vengono fissate per sempre. L'affetto con cui fotografa è del tutto evidente nelle sue foto e nel desiderio di farle vedere e di far godere chiunque della loro vista. Non usa strumenti di postproduzione anche se ogni tanto si lascia andare ad un uso sofisticato e sopraffino del tono seppia con il quale è riuscita in alcune foto a rendere il sentimento che l'anima prova davanti ad un tramonto, davanti ad un architettura medievale o davanti al sorriso semplice di un uomo con il suo cavallo. Le sue foto sono sincere come lei ................... non si apprezzano le foto se prima non si apprezza la persona che le ha fatte.

She also has a big heart, as she spends a great deal of her time sharing her expertise with everyone else. If I had to sum up Angela's work on Flickr in just a few words, I would use Benjamin Disraeli's: "The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but to reveal to him, his own." Okay... ' What can I say about Angela ' was my first thought when I felt the need to write to her this testimonial. Well, actually a whole lot! Just assuming that this good looking young lady simply deserves another testimonial wouldn't be quite honest and enough. So, let me start with a fact that she's really the fastest, attentive and most devoted Flickr contact I've ever met. Always in for a gossip or two and an ultra-sharp eye on every detail she comes upon. I often wondered if she's got bionic eyes and lives in some sort of time-machine, because she seems to handle lots of things in a fraction of time. From posting her shots, administrating groups to tagging someone else's photographs and even send out invites, comments and a fave from time to time. Angela aka 'angie_real' is a true artist by heart. A quick learner and teacher simultaneously. Her stream shows these wonderful shots of adventures taken from her planned trips, sudden events of just a shot around the corner. It really doesn't matter how far from home her shots were taken, her work just shows affection to detail and admiration for visited places. Most of her shots are accompanied with well documented facts and descriptions with a great sense of enthusiasm as well. Therefore, I think her stream is valuable to us all. If I was asked to describe her work, I would say a mixture of well documented traveling and advertorial photography, ranging from her balcony to the other parts of the world, with respect to different kinds of cultures or anything that's different. Angie_real (Angela) is a remarkable woman, gifted with a great Italian spirit. Her enthousiasm, humour and communication-style are wonderful. Angela is one of those Flickr-members who don't take the art of photography too serious and she is one of the few women who are really funny; her opinions in the comments make me smile almost every time. Photography is not only a technical matter (ok; technique is important) but even more a way to share life and emotions.. and besides that it's nice to see that the quality of Angela's photos is obviously getting better the last weeks.. I wish her all the best with this hobby, with Max -her husband- and.... of course: with Hokhiko, her dog, and one of Flickr's top-models:-)
