I live in Stockport (UK) - married, mortgaged and everything that goes with it....

Until recently the extent of my photography was point and press 'happy snaps'.

A couple of months ago I bought a Canon 450D as a first step into proper photography and hopefully a worthwhile and satisfying hobby. So far, so good...I'm kind of bumbling along at the minute and enjoying finding out what I can do...but I am looking to improve. Any and all comments very much appreciated.
