How to describe me??

Hmmm... My name is Andy Laode Abdul Hasan... it is a quite long name for most of people. I encourage you to call me Andy for simplicity sake. But you still can call me Andy OR Laode OR Abdul OR Hasan. Why I suggest you to call me Andy and not Hasan for example. It is because Andy is very simple to pronounce in all the dialect and language in the world. In the contrast, even I can’t spell Hasan cause I have difficulty in pronounce the letter "S" (lisp).

In this era of digital Photography, you can consider me as a drop in the ocean. I consider myself as a wanderer in this vast image universe. My psychologist says that I am a visual guy, and I agree with that. I really love to watch beautiful movie (in term of camera or movie taking), I really love to watch beautiful scenery, beautiful kid, beautiful woman, beautiful lighting.

But if you want to categorize me as a photographer, well, I have no idea how to categorize myself. I am a professional photographer, yes I am. Cause I am working at Kompas as a Field Photo Reporter. If you see Kompas news, maybe one of my photos used by that Newspaper you read. But as a photographer also I have my point of interest.

I love to shoot bridge, crossover bridge, fly over, AND I really love to shoot stone, rock, sand, and dirt (very small rock, medium rock, big rock, coral, mud, play with dirt and mud, etc). So I am a bridge photographer and stone, rock, sand, and dirt photographer.

I also love to take picture of people: portrait.

I live in Jakarta, the very messy city in my country Indonesia; however, if by a chance, you as my friend in flicker want to come around to my city, just drop me a message. I will be very happy to show you around.
