I take photos because we travel or we travel so I can take photos or we travel to enjoy regional food styles. I firmly believe that there is always a photo opportunity. I try to work within the "rules" of composition, light, and such, but will not pass up an interesting shot. The majority of my years were in the film days and that accounts for an economy of shots never using "burst" mode or many of the other modern tools. Feeling is far more important than technical perfection.
