I've been "into" photography since 2007.

I had a Nikon D-200 and stick in front it a Nikon 18-200mm VR for day to day stuff. For wide angle use I've got a Sigma 10-20mm and for telephoto use I've got a Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 (with x1.4 and x2.0 teleconverters). I've also got a Nikon SB-800 flash which I'll occasionally use off camera. I since bought a 105mm Macro and 35mm f/1.8 for DOF low light work. I recently took the plunge and went total telephoto with a second hand AF-S 500mm f/4.0 and a 1.4 teleconverter.

I'll generally photo anything that won't complain about it. Preferably stationary, but I enjoy the challenge of birds and aircraft in flight.

I went through a HDR phase, but am more likely to use a ND Grad these days.

Eventually after a few years of heavy use the D-200's shutter stopped working. So I'm now using a D-7000.
