I've owned a digital camera since 1999, which to be fair is longer than most. My first camera was a 1.5 megapixel Fuji - everytime I used it people would stare at my amazing digital camera - they were not a common sight then and people would always ask me questions about it.

I moved on to a Fuji S602Z which was a great camera and "nearly" an SLR. This camera died, or rather I killed it probably by too much use on freezing cold ski slopes.

The logical thing to buy was a digital SLR, so I didnt do that and bought a Canon Ixus 50 - great camera and my current weapon of choice - mainly because I got fed up with lugging loads of camera junk around when in most situations a good pocket size camera will do the job. I will find my way to an SLR soon Im sure.

My photos are a mixture of general snaps(holiday rubbish etc where being artistic is almost impossible) and pictures where I've made some effort to be above average.......
