I've been interested in photography for most of my life and now in middle age, the passion has been re-kindled. I started with digital in 1997 and been part of the DSLR world since 2008 but have recently rediscovered the joy of 35mm, having not taken a single film photograph for more than 10 years!

I'm not a brand evangelist, so in the same way that I have owned both Corvettes and Mustangs, I own both Nikon and Canon SLR's. I love the high-tech control of my Nikon digital bodies and the old-school simplicity of my Canon 35mm's.
