If you look at my profile photo, you will see 2 young lads next to a Western. The taller of the two is me, the loco is Courier, the location is Kingswear, the year is 1977. What I didn't know at the time, was that both Courier and myself entered service on the same day (6th May 1963). Drove Courier on the SVR during 2014 as a delayed 50th birthday celebration. Long term member of the Western Locomotive Association.
