Started using a SLR on the 3rd of November 2006... Birthday treat it was.

I have purchased my 1st digital SLR on the 3rd of November 2006, the very day I opened this flickr account.

I've been first using Canon EOS 30D with an EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, and an EF 50mm f/1.4 canon lens.

I'm now using a EOS 1D mark III, the EF 85mm f/1.2 L, the EF 135mm f/2 L the EF 24-70 f/2,8 L and the EF 70-200 IS f/2,8 L.

Also using a Leica M8 with Summilux 50mm 1.4.

I'm photographing a bit of everything... trying out different things. What I like best are portraits and street photography... and what I like least is MOST probably landscape (can't do it... just can't. A part of my brain is probably missing... it's quite frustrating).

I'm open to any criticism or suggestions you may have !

Photos are taken by me unless copyright line at the bottom of the pic indicates otherwise. Photos were all shot with my camera/lenses.

Only the people I've classified as friends are able to download the pictures in full size. However, please feel free to let me know should you want to have access to any of the pic.

It's always an eye opener, an experience, an ethnographer's treat to see Andwan's photos -especially street photography. The expressions are sometimes so hillariously familiar. Great work. Thanks for sharing.

Andwan makes life more detailed. He knows how to visualize details of each person by taking pictures of body parts. He manages to create a special atmosphere, trying to make casual situation a great sublimation. Keep goin in that way Andwan !

One of my favourite portraits in Andwan's stream is titled "Highly Picturable," which is very appropriate because Andwan makes pretty much anyone "pictureable." I love his portraits and street photography; he's brave, warm and youthful in his approach. Cheers, Andwan.
