Just trying to take shots of things that look good...

My interest in photography started after seeing a photo, from the CEO of a start-up I was working with in 2002, of a glowing cactus that looked like it was Photoshop'd. He proceeded to tell me that it wasn't manipulated, but using Kodak HIE (Infrared) to see what our eyes cannot see. That was 2002 when film was still the primary medium and digital backs were not cheap nor anything like what they are now. It took over decade, but I finally dove in with a used, infrared-converted Canon 10D in 2015. Many lenses and bodies later ...

Generally: abstract, landscape, flowers and architectural shots; sometimes, a few cat photos.

I always appreciate comments and a follow. I'm happy to share locations and discuss details because I get many ideas for shots by seeing what other people shoot and asking.
