I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Photojournalism in Spring 2007. I left the world of photography and journalism for a significant number of years after that. I found myself wanting to be a part of the news in a positive way instead of reporting it. That led to me becoming a firefighter/paramedic.

2015 - While I love my career, my passion for photography has always lingered at the edges, waiting for me to pick my camera back up. So that is what I've done. Everything is a bit rusty and at times I feel like I'm reteaching myself fundamentals. But it's like coming back home to where I belong. It may no longer be a career, but it is no less a part of who I am. I hope you enjoy my journey in rediscovering this medium.
