After 20 years in public radio, working for NPR in Washington, as well as stations and programs in San Francisco, Northeast PA, NH, Ann Arbor, MI and Cleveland, I career changed in May of 2006 and became a full-time photographer. Since 2009, I have been in the Washington DC metro area, concentrating on weddings, having shot over 500 in my career.

Since turning pro, I have been busy photographing weddings, residential real estate, people, and a host of inanimate objects. I am the recipient of 2 WPJA MasterPiece awards for my wedding photography and have had photos appear on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer on CNN, CNN.com, MAX magazine, and in the October 2007 edition of Popular Photography, my photo of Alex's chin was featured in a full page spread. In the summer of 2007, I became Staff Photographer for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
