I remember that I was so amazed when I came across Andrew’s photostream for the first time. It was like stumbling upon a treasure trove and with every click discovering new gems. It is difficult to sum up Andrew’s photos in one word or phrase but if I had to, I would say that his work is “artistically versatile”. Andrew is immensely creative and his refreshing approach is truly inspirational. Furthermore, Andrew has it all : whether it’s a stunning landscape, an intimate macro, endearing animal photos, fantastic experiments with light, exquisite water shots, wonderful treatment of colours and patterns .... the list is never-ending! Andrew is a true friend. I feel like I've known him forever, even though we've only met in this virtual flickr community. He is young, creative, remarkly talented, and wise beyond his years. He is always full of encouragements, genuine comments, and even constructive criticisms and suggestions, which I find are rare in this community. He has some of the most spectacular long exposure and droplet shots I've seen anywhere! I still remember when I first got to know Andrew, armed with his P&S he took wonderful shots. And he keeps getting better and better. He was courageous enough to take his skills on a new level when he bought his first DSLR. Instantaneously, his talents just keep on growing. His shots keep on leaving me in awe everytime I see them. He's generous with his comments and always takes the time to visit his contacts' photostreams including mine. I applaud Andrew's passion in photography as he masters his skills each day.
